We are Matt, Kelly along with our daughter Maisie, and we are delighted to be running Marlow Boating. We are a reliable and friendly boat rental business based at the beautiful site of Bisham Abbey, just outside of Marlow, Bucks, and operate along the River Thames throughout Buckinghamshire, or further afield if you choose.

We have the most wonderful team in place to help you create memories that will last a lifetime, as we are also all passionate about exploring the Thames and all it has to offer. With a combined experience of 60+ years of canoe, kayak, and water-based activities our team wants to ensure everyone is safe during their journey and that they also come away with a smile on their face.

Toilets near the River Thames On a Sunday in May 2023, I walked along the River Thames in London from the London Eye to Tower Bridge. At the start of the trip, I wanted to go to the toilet, so I went to nearby Waterloo Station and looked for a toilet. I went down the stairs near the statue in the photo and found a free toilet. It was a large and clean toilet. I returned to the River Thames, walked along the river, and wanted to go to the toilet again near the Tower of London. I looked for a toilet, but it was closed. I had no choice but to go back in the direction of the London Eye, looking for a toilet. I found some paid toilets, but they were closed because it was Sunday. There were also unmanned coin-operated toilets, but you can't use them unless you have a coin. In the end, I decided to go to Waterloo Station. It was a relief.

Three men in a boat. We hired a 3 man canoe to use for a section of the River Thames Path that we are completing in stages. Guy was really helpful with advice on taxis and parking as well as briefing us on safety for our trip from Henley to Bisham Abbey.

Great afternoon on the river Easy safe parking at the Venue ,good briefing and safety instructions .Hired the Zen electric boat. Plenty of room for six adults . Off towards Marlow ,lovely stretch of the river with plenty to look at .Through a lock (bit of fun) then onto a pub on the riverside after a pint a little further up the river then headed back to base . Allow time to get through the lock ,got back just before 5 . Great afternoon everyone enjoyed it .

Great place for a fun weekend Had a great time kayaking with a group of friends, very helpful and friendly staff, great facilities. Bring your swimsuits, it’s nice to stop for a little break and go for a swim.

Relaxing river fun with kids Fabulous last day of the school holidays on the river in a canoe and kayak. Guy was so helpful and very thorough with safety. Great start location from Bisham Abbey with free parking. I highly recommend this company if you want a lovely relaxed family day.

Boat trip through the locks Lovely trip on the river through the locks. Beautiful scenery. The boat was perfect for our purposes - we great fun taking turns driving. Lovely boat to have a picnic on, and even had good rain protection for the inevitable summer showers :)

River Bikes are such a fun way to see the Thames Second time on Moose Canoe Hire's river bikes and we had just as much fun as the first time. This is such a brilliant way to mosey on down the Thames. Fun, safe, easy to ride and attract a lot of attention from all who passed us by!

A fabulous afternoon on the river Had an amazing afternoon on the river kayaking with family. We had two young kids with us and none of us had ever been in a Kayak before. Not an issue at all as Guy and the team gave fabulous explanations of what to expect and how it would work. Loved it so much, will definitely be returning. Hopefully it might be a bit sunnier next time!!!
